The luxurious bathroom has a free-standing bath, separate wet room-style shower and underfloor heating. There’s also a washbasin, toilet, heated towel rail and storage cabinet. - Hallway:
With oak cupboard and under-stairs storage area.
1st Floor
- Sitting Room:
The stand-out feature here is the large picture window offering fabulous sea views. There’s also a wood-burning stove, a comfy two-seater sofa, reading chair, wall-mounted TV and USB charging points. The room is stylishly decorated with co-ordinating furnishings and slate flooring. - Kitchen and Dining Area:
There’s a range of modern fitted units, including a tower-mounted oven and microwave, ceramic hob, integrated fridge/freezer box, dishwasher and washing machine. There’s also a dining table with two chairs. And from the kitchen you can take in the glorious rural views, while an internal oak staircase with glass balustrades leads to the ground floor.
Outside
- Outside and Parking:
The main access to the cottage is via an external stone staircase, which leads to the kitchen door. Alongside the barn is a corbelled hut, dating back to the medieval period, and there’s a small raised garden next to this. At the side of the cottage is an outside seating area where you can enjoy those marvellous coastal views. A barbecue is also provided, and there’s parking for one car and a boat, if required. - Quiet Rural Retreat
